This is more specific to motorola fire xt530. But I feel this works on all high end android smart phones.
You need to install a freeware app from google. GESTURE SEARCH is a wonderful app developed by google.
With gesture search, you can get any thing on your phone in a matter of milli seconds. From your internal ip settings to files on your sd card.
After installing the app, go to options and make sure settings is checked. Now write "ip settings" on your gesture screen.
select ip settings, now select"WIFI SLEEP POLICY" choose "Never" from the options and save the settings.
You are done now your wifi won't disconnect til you do it.
