Prakash Raj turns to do baddie in Salman's 'Dabangg 2'

Prakash Raj is the powerhouse actor in the southern circuit, now Prakash Raj seems to have become a favorite in Bollywood also. National Award winning actor Salman Khan, who played Ghani Bhai (antagonist) in Salman Khan’s 2008 hit ‘Wanted’, has been roped in to play villain in ‘Dabangg 2’. Apparently, Prakash Raj role in the film ‘Wanted’ was the turning point for Salman’s fading career. Since then, there has been no turning back for the superstar who is hitting only the south hits.

According to a source, ‘Dabangg 2’ (the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Dabanng’) will be quite different from the first part. Salman Khan will sport a new look in the film. However, Sonu Sood, who played the antagonist (Cheddi Singh) in ‘Dabanng’, is also going to be a part of the film, but in a completely different avatar this time. Arbaaz Khan has another key role to play.

Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the female lead as well in this much awaited sequel.

To be produced and directed by Arbaaz Khan, ‘Dabangg 2’ will go on to sets next year March. It is slated for 2012 Christmas release.

Technical team will be the same that worked for ‘Dabangg’. Dilip Shukla penned script while Sajid-Wajid composes music.
